Classes offered at LPCP

At Leesburg Presbyterian Church Preschool we believe that preschool is a time in which the senses should be awakened and the mind opened. Children are helped to explore their expanding worlds on their own levels and at their own rates. Our school is designed to provide for the social, emotional, intellectual, and physical development of your child. It is a wonderful, warm, fun, and loving place to learn and grow.

The program will be one that presents an environment and experiences that will be engaging and stimulating in all areas of development and domains of learning.  The curriculum will serve the level of older and ready 4’s and support the continued progress of 5’s that will benefit from the gift of time in a rich educational, yet preschool environment. The longer instructional day and the age requirement are based on higher expectations for focus and work habits. All three of our kids attended/attend LPCP, and we couldn’t be happier with our experience! Our oldest is now 11 years old and she still gets excited to come back to her classrooms – all filled with special memories. Our son is 9 years old, and he truly loves coming back too. Both of them made lifelong friends at LPCP, and love seeing their former teachers, and Mrs. Thiel! Our youngest is now 4 years old and currently attends LPCP. It’s been a lot of fun to be back – we never considered another program! The quality learning experiences coupled with the warmth from the staff makes LPCP a very special place – and a great treasure to our whole family.

Stephanie Manning (mom of Clara, Owen and Vivian), 03 April 2018
Leesburg Presbyterian Preschool is a special place. We have been apart of the school for four years now and feel as though its an extended part of our family. From the moment we met with Elaine Thiel, the director, we knew we stumbled upon something wonderful. Our daughters have been able to flourish both socially and academically in a fun, hands-on approach. If you are looking for a loving environment, where your child can learn through creating, imaginative play, and discovery, LPCP is the place for your child!

Rebecca Norman (mom of Clara and Finley), 22 Feb 2018

My daughter comes home with beautiful artwork and new songs after every class. She always has a good time. I would recommend Leesburg Presbyterian Church Preschool to anyone with young children. I think it’s the best preschool in the area.

Kate Clegg (mom of Olivia), 15 feb 2016

We’re so thrilled to have found Leesburg Presbyterian for our daughter. Not only is it an incredibly supportive environment for working parents, with flexible care options, but the teachers are also so caring and patient with the children. We could not be happier with LPCP.

Karin and Albert Bennett (parents of Maya), 1 feb 2015

I’ve been taking my kids to them for the past 2 years and I am just so thankful to them for being super flexible with my ever-changing schedule needs & being a LOVING and encouraging environment for my kids. If you’re looking for an affordable and flexible option for preschool, I hope you go visit and speak with Elaine Terry Thiel. The moment I met her and the other wonderful teachers there, I knew I found the perfect home for my littles.
